Guest speaker- Keith Fergus on freelance photography and his book on the River C At the meeting on Tuesday 9/03/10, club president John Zawadzki welcomed guest speaker Keith Fergus, photographer and writer. Read More... Members AV night The meeting on 3 March 2010 gave members the opportunity to show off their photographs and share their growing skills in producing audio visual presentations. Most speakers who visit camera clubs use such presentations to accompany their talks. Read More... Judging of the 4th and 5th Internal competitions: Portrait and Photo Travel Club President John Zawadzki welcomed the judge, Stan Miller, CPAGB, of Alba Camera Club. Stan, who is also chairman of the Glasgow District Photographic Union, was fullsome in his praise of both prints and digital images entered. However, his constructive critisism was also welcomed. It was clearly a difficult job for him as the quality of photographs for each catagory was of a high standard. Read More... Saturday Outing On Sat 6/2/10, club members went on a trip to Glencoe, Glen Etive and Glen Orchy. Despite the weather not being ideal, there were ample photo opportunities. Thanks to vice president Gavin Forrest for organising the trip and sharing his knowledge of the best vantage points. Read More...
